3.1 Presentation by Coruna- NurcuUnified School District Board Member Bill
Newberry.
Mr. Newberry was present and discussed how the local high school's band has
expanded to almost double the number of mebeis as previous years. He stated
that appruximately 20 band members had no instruments and the school would
need approximately $4U,UUU to purchase instruments fur thr, students.
There was discussion regarding the various ettorts the school and district had
made to raise the funds needed to purchase the i�Mruments.

Linda Mellin with American Printing and Promotions was present and displayed
g,everal options tor mug type and design.

It was the consensus ot the Board to order mugs trom a toreign vendor to increase
the mug size and color options.
Volunteer Eren Cello provided an update on the quotes she had received trom
Vaicker(iiant tor the Easivale stickers and static cling decals.
It was the consensus of the ijoar d to muve furward with ubtaining a proof of a 377
x 3' oval sticker.

There was discussion regarding the process ot holding the toy drive, and the
Jurupa Community Services District's winter event.

Board Member Ontiveros discussed the local high school, and the requirement that all
seniors participate in a minimum number of community service hours before graduation.
There was discussion regarding how to get out intormation to the high school regarding
volunteer opportunities with the Foundation.

Management to benetit the I-oundation.

Executive Director Link discussed the 501(c)(3) non-protii application process, an'i
provided an update on the Jurupa Community Services District (JCSD) proposed
