There was dist;ussion on the total unuunt of grant funding received. Application #.34 was reviewedtsoard member t3enitez-untiverus disuusseU tne need to set @ limit on amount ot awards given in the tuture. Application 421 was removed due to not returning the completed, revised application and Application #44 was added to the disbursement list. There was also discussion on the need to sut-up a meeting with the Jurupa Community Surviues vistriut to find out what they offered low-income residents. It was stated that a list ot criteria needed to be created tor tuture applications. it was announced that the P'oundation assisted 93 kids with the current CDBU Grant. There was discussion on printing costs for business cards, large presentation cnecKs, and stationary. ► M#3=11jMVF I here was discussion regarding tulluw-up with the applicants and tile corresponding leagues to notifythem ot what had been approved or not and creating an Ad Hoc committee in future to handle the scholarships. Motion Carried 5-0-1 with Link absent. 7.2 Event Update — Golf Tournament- xcuummundatiun: Receive an update from Ad tiou Committee at -id appiove Contract with location, sponsorship levels, entry tees and supplemetital tun3raisers during event. Board Member Nassar gave examples of Golf Tournament flyers and passed oui an Assig=ent sheet. He also stated that he will announce the event at the City uounch mueting anZi suggested doing some sort of FK Stunt to gather interest in the event. There was discussion on the possibility of getting printeU bags with logos that would be donated by, sponsors. i here was also discussion on hosting small fundraising events to make up the tunUs neeUeU tor the Ueposit at the golf course. He went on to ask that everyone look into sman, low effort fundraiser that could be held to supplement the Foundations expenses.
