1. CALL TO ORDER
The special joint meeting of the Eastvale City Council and Jurupa Community Services District Board
of Directors was called to order at 6:00 p.m. by Mayor Yow.
2. ROLL CALL
Present: Councilmembers Dinco, Plott, Rigby, Mayor Pro Tern Lorimore and Mayor Yow.
JCSD Board of Directors Anderson, Moreno, Nava, Vice President McLaughlin, and
President Folsom.
Absent: None
City Staff
Present: City Manager Jones, City Attorney Vega, and City Clerk/Communications Director
Donohue.
1CSD General Manager Berch, Director of Parks & Recreation Lawson, and District
Legal Counsel Riddell.
3. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE
1CSD Board President Folsom led the Pledge of Allegiance.

5. CITY COUNCIL/BOARD OF DIRECTOR BUSINESS
5.1 Introductions by City of Eastvale and JCSD
5.2 History of Parks in Eastvale
5.3 Current Services, Facilities, and Programs
5.4 Opportunities for further Collaboration and Partnership
Items 5.1 - 5.4 were discussed at once.
JCSD General Manager Berch introduced the JCSD Board of Directors, staff and
presented a PowerPoint presentation.
City Manager Jones introduced the City Council, City staff and presented a
PowerPoint presentation.
City staff and JCSD staff were directed by the City Council and JCSD Board of
Directors to work on the following:
• Request for more information on CFD funding
• Request to potentially build a park together
• Request for deputies patrolling our parks
• How can we better serve our seniors
• How to better improve landscaping & what's the funding for landscape
maintenance
• Park's five year plan
ADJOURNMENT - Mayor Yow adjourned the regular meeting at 8:09 p.m. The next meeting of the
Eastvale City Council will be on August 25, 2021, at 6:30 p.m. and the next meeting of the JCSD
Board of Directors will be on August 9, 2021 at 6:00 p.m.
