SECTION 1. Chapter 10-02 of Title 10 to the Eastvale Municipal Code is amended in its entirety
to read as follows:
"Sec. 10.02.010. - Findings.
(a) The City Council of the City of Eastvale finds that an engi Bering and traffic survey has been
completed in full compliance with the requirements of the (',.alifornia Vehicle Code and the
recommendations in the survey should be implemented. Based upon the review of the survey

which this Chapter is derived, the City Engineer is directed to clearly post speed limit signs
effectuating Section 10.02.020 above, to give notice that this Chapter is in effect."
SECTION 2. If any section, subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this
Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of
competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of
this Ordinance. The City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted this Ordinance,
and each section, subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion thereof,
irrespective of the fact that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions, sentences,
clauses, phrases or portions thereof be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the
same to be published in accordance with the law.
