AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EASTVALE,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTIONS 08.32.040, 08.32.050,
120.04.140 AND 130.24.020 OF THE EASTVALE MUNICIPAL CODE
WHEREAS, the City desires to make non -substantive clean-up changes to the Code that have
been identified, including changing position titles.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EASTVALE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. All references to "Director of Building and Safety" in Section 8.32.040 and 8.32.050,
shall be amended and replaced with "City Engineer."
SECTION 2. All references to "wireless communication facilities" in Section 120.04.140 shall be
amended and replaced with "communication facilities."
SECTION 3. All references to "Director of Transportation" in Section 130.24.020 shall be amended
and replaced with "City Engineer."
SECTION 4. If any section, subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion of this
Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitutional by the decision of any court of
competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the validity of the remaining portions of this
Ordinance. The City Council hereby declares that it would have adopted this Ordinance, and each
section, subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase, or portion thereof, irrespective of the
fact that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions, sentences, clauses, phrases or
portions thereof be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION S. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this ordinance and shall cause the same
to be published in accordance with law.
SECTION 6. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days after its passage by the City Council.
