AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OFT E CITY OF EASTVALE,
CALIFORNIA, AMENDING SECTION 12.06 010 (GLOSSARY OF
TERMS) OF THE EASTVALE MUNICIPAL COD
WHEREAS, section 12.06.010 of Eastvale Municipal Code rovides all definitions that are used
throughout title 120.
WHEREAS, the City desires to amend this section to addres inconsistencies in terminology.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EAS VALE DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
SECTION 1. Section 12.06.010 of the Eastvale Municipal Co e is amended in its entirety to read
as follows (with crossed out words indicating deletion and underlined words indicating
additions):
Sec. 120.06.010. - Glossary of terms.
(a) For the purpose of this zoning title, certain words a d terms used in this title are defined
as follows:
Building setback line means the distance between t e highway line or permanent access
easement located on the same lot and the minim m setback distance required by the
underlying zone.
SECTION 2. If any section, subsection, subdivision, senten e, clause, phrase, or portion of this
Ordinance is for any reason held to be invalid or unconstitu ional by the decision of any court of
competent jurisdiction, such decision shall not affect the vapidity of the remaining portions of this
Ordinance. The City Council hereby declares that it would h ve adopted this Ordinance, and each
section, subsection, subdivision, sentence, clause, phrase, r portion thereof, irrespective of the
fact that any one or more sections, subsections, subdivisions, sentences, clauses, phrases or
portions thereof be declared invalid or unconstitutional.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of thi ordinance and shall cause the same
to be published in accordance with law.
SECTION 4. This ordinance shall take effect thirty (30) days fter its passage by the City Council.
