WHEKEAS, upon its incorporation in zuiu, the City of Eastvale ("City") adopted the
Riverside County Codes which included regulations tor tree remov-51 on any parcel or property
greater thm one-half acre in size, located in an area above :),UUU Leet in elevation without tirst
obtaining a permit; and
WHEKEAS, upon its incoy poration in 2010, the City adopted the Riverside County
codes is included regulations tor treu removal in the public right of way without first
obtaining a permit; and
WHEREAS, on August 27, 20147 and in or—der to more adequately ad&ess current
conditions solely within the City and to dearly identify the relationship between the City and
Jurupa community ziervices vistriut ("JCSD") in connection with tree management, the City
council adopted comprenunsive Administrative Regulations for Tre%,- Management which
provides tor criteria for establishing remov5I of trues in the City, including thu public right of
way.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OFTHE CITY UFEA:S'I"VALh L)UhS

If any section, subsection, clause, or phrase ot this Ordinance is tor any reason held to be invalid
o, Luiconstitutional by the decision ot a court ot competent jurisdiction, it shall not affect the
remaining portions of this Ordinan%,e that can be given ettect without the invalid provision and,
to this enZi, the provisions of this Ordinance are severable. The City Council hereby declares that
it would have allopteEt this urdinance irrespective of tht; invalidity of m-ty particular portion
thereot and intends that the invalid portions stiouO be severed m -id the balance of the Ordinw-t%,e
be unfurced.
SECTiON 4. Effective Date: This Ordinance shall become eftective 3U days trout the
date of its adoption.
